Terms of use

Using my.adhd means agreeing to what is below. It is short, because the app is free, holds nothing of yours, and asks for nothing in return.
The short version
- This is not medical care. It is not treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or advice from anyone qualified to give it.
- It is free, and provided as-is. No promises that it works, stays up, or keeps your lists safe.
- Your lists are yours. We claim nothing you type.
- Back up anything you cannot lose. Your tasks live only in your browser, and we cannot recover them.
What my.adhd is
A tool for getting a cluttered head onto a list. You type what is in it, an AI sorts that into tasks with rough durations and a small first step, and the app shows you one thing at a time. That is the whole product.
It is free. There is no account, no subscription, and nothing to buy.
It is not medical care
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is not buried in a clause.
my.adhd is not a medical device, and it does not treat, diagnose, cure, or manage ADHD or any other condition. Nothing in it is advice from a doctor, therapist, psychiatrist, coach, or anyone else qualified to give it. The name describes who it was built for, not a clinical claim about what it does.
Do not use it in place of professional help, and do not use it to decide anything about medication, treatment, or your health. If you are struggling, talk to a doctor or a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line — this app cannot help you and does not monitor what you type.
What you type stays yours
We claim no ownership of your tasks, your dumps, or anything else you write. You keep every right you had in it.
To make the app work we need the narrow permission to process what you type — to send a dump to the AI that sorts it, and to write events to your calendar if you have linked one. That permission exists only to run the features you asked for, and it ends when you stop using them. The privacy page sets out exactly what goes where.
Feedback is the one exception worth naming: if you send a note from the feedback screen, we may act on it, quote it, or build what it asks for, without owing you anything for it. That is the deal with any suggestion box, stated rather than assumed.
Your lists are not backed up
Your tasks live in your browser's storage and nowhere else. Clearing your browser data, using a different device, or switching browsers loses them, and there is no copy anywhere that we could restore from even if you asked.
This is a deliberate trade — it is why there is no account and why nothing of yours sits on a server. But it means the responsibility for anything you cannot afford to lose is yours. Do not use this as the only record of something that matters.
Fair use
Do not use my.adhd to break the law, to attack the service or the people who use it, or to get at anyone else's data. Do not hammer the API, scrape it, resell access to it, or run it through automated tooling at a volume a person could not produce. Do not use it to generate content that is illegal.
The app is free and unauthenticated, which makes abuse everyone else's problem: it is a shared budget. We may rate-limit, block, or withdraw access to keep it working for other people, and we do not have to warn you first.
Other people's services
Parts of the app depend on services we do not control — the AI that sorts your dump, Google Calendar if you link it, and the hosting underneath all of it. When one of those changes its terms, its prices, or its mind, the feature that depends on it may change or stop. Your use of Google Calendar is also governed by your agreement with Google, which is between you and them.
No warranty
my.adhd is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise it will be accurate, available, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for anything in particular.
Specifically and unromantically: the AI gets things wrong. It will misread a date, invent a task you did not ask for, split one job into three, or guess a duration badly. Check anything that matters before you act on it. It is a first draft of your list, not an authority on it.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of my.adhd — including missed appointments, forgotten tasks, lost lists, deadlines that went past, calendar events that did not appear or did not disappear, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above, in which case they apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
Ending it
You can stop at any time; there is no account to close. Clearing the site's data removes everything the app holds, and unlinking Google Calendar on the profile screen ends that connection.
We may change, suspend, or shut down the service, or any part of it, at any time. It is free and run by one person, so please do not build anything load-bearing on the assumption that it will still be here next year.
Changes to these terms
If these change, the date at the top changes. Carrying on using the app after that means accepting the new version. Changes that materially affect what happens to what you type will be described on the privacy page rather than folded in quietly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which these terms do not take away.
